Best Pumpkin Patches in Austin

According to the calendar, its been Fall for a couple of weeks now, but this feels like a Summer that will NEVER end. Hopefully we are finally done with the triple digits and can just move forward.

Nothing says Fall more than a cute pic of your Pumpkin amidst a patch of Pumpkins. Here are of some of the best places to take your little princesses and superheroes:

Elgin Christmas Tree Farm -

In Elgin. Open 10am Monday-Saturday and Sundays at noon, with farm activities and hayrides. Check out the Pumpkin Festivals Oct. 8th & 9th and 15th & 16th Saturday 10:00 – 5:30 / Sunday 12:00 – 5:30 Admission includes: face painting, live bluegrass music, carnival games, a kiddie train ride & more.

Evergreen Farms

Also in Elgin. Open on Saturdays 10-5 and Sundays 1-5 throughout October. Admission is free, and includes activities like wagon rides, petting zoo, toddler play area and the Pumpkin Hunt. Face painting, train rides and other activities run $2-4.

 Sweetberry Farm

In Marble Falls. Fun October Activities like Stuff Your Own Scarecrow, hayfield mazes, hayrides, face painting and petting zoo. Horse Rides on weekends. Open Monday-Saturday 8:30-5:50, and Sunday 1-5.Closed on Wednesdays.

Tarrytown United Methodist Church

Huge Pumpkin Patch Set up in their front lawn on Exposition. For sale and for photo-ops. Open weekdays 2-7:30, Saturdays 9-7:30 and Sundays noon-7:30.

 

Grace United Methodist Church

Located in Travis Heights at 205 East Monroe. Opens Saturday October 15th 10:00 am. Open through October, Weekdays at 4:00pm, Saturdays at 10:00am and Sundays at noon.
