The Blue Hole in Wimberley, Texas, is a beautiful spring-fed swimming hole surrounded by tall cypress trees. The park has been totally vamped up thanks to a master plan designed by The Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center. It is now a beautiful park complete with new changing facilities, a new office (made of recycled materials) and a small amphitheater tucked back in the woods.
The swimming hole is open on weekends all summer long. Children under 4 are free, 4 – 12 are $4, 13 – 59 are $8, and Seniors are $4. They also offer season passes, as well as 10-punch passes. For hours and prices, clicky.
