The Music on the Square Summer Concert Series continues through August with a great lineup every Friday for the rest of the summer. These shows are all FREE and are at the Georgetown Courthouse Square. Bring your lawn chair, a blanket and have a picnic on the Courthouse lawn near the corner of Main St. and 8th St. while you enjoy some live music. Shows are from 6 – 8 pm.
This Friday, August 10, The Flying Balailaka Brothers will be playing Texas Swing, Polka and more. If you haven’t seen them yet, I highly recommend it, it’s a good time.
Next Friday, August 17, Staci Gray will perform children’s music. In addition to the live show there will be face painting and other family fun.
Friday, August 24, The Rowdy Road Band will play oldies, country and jazz.
The series wraps up on Friday, August 31 with an end of summer concert.
