Check out Austin Steam Train’s newest route this Sunday, Feb. 23 at 3 pm. Capital City Express is the train’s newest route and is a leisurely 3 hour round-trip running from Cedar Park to Austin. As always, the train will be pulled a 1960 Alco diesel locomotive and with passage through the McNeil Interlocker, there may even be an opportunity for a meet-up with a Union Pacific Train. There will even be chances to win prized while playing CCE Bingo along the way. Please note there is no layover on the trip so plan to be aboard the train for the entire journey.
