Over here at Do512 Family, you know we love a good music festival — especially when it’s a kid-friendly event! You wouldn’t believe how many times friends have told us that Old Settler’s Music Festival is their favorite to take the whole family. Coming up on October 21-24, this festival showcases the best of Americana music, offers up a fun camping experience, an arts and crafts market, great food, and plenty of kids activities. Located in Tilmon, TX, just southeast of Lockhart, you’ll find rolling hills and a wooded setting with a dedicated family camping area for the over-nighters or plenty of day passes available, too.

Music: Check out multiple stages with acts such as Jamestown Revival, Jade Bird, Ray Wylie Hubbard, Sam Bush, Bob Schneider, Jackie Venson, the Peterson Brothers, and much more. You can view the full performance schedule online here.

Health & Safety: The team at Old Settler’s knows that safety of guests, artists, staff, and vendors is paramount. Please take a moment to review this year’s COVID-19 protocols.

Kids Activities: Parents are invited to bring children to Old Settler’s to enjoy the music, camping, and good times making friends in a down-home, friendly, Texas setting. Children ages 12 & under get free admission, and there’s also a great 50% discount for teens ages 13-17. Kids’ programs vary a bit each year but include fun, low tech activities centered around music and the environment such as a petting zoo, face painting, arts & crafts, board games, balloons, instrument making, and more. Tickets: There’s a wide range of ticket options for those who want to camp or simply enjoy the fest by day. Click here for the overview of prices and to purchase your passes online.
