Still looking for the perfect plan for Memorial Day weekend? Fredericksburg Crawfish Festival runs Friday May 23 through Sunday May 25 at MarktPlatz. For the grown folks there is live music & dancing. For the kiddos there is a climbing wall, bumper boats and even a human hamster ball! All generations can enjoy crawfish and Gator Country shows. Those are real gators, folks!

If it has been awhile since you have traveled through Fredericksburg, be prepared for the transformation. It is like a little Napa in the heart of Texas. It is only an 1.5 hour drive if you want to make a day trip of it. It has become a popular destination for girl’s weekends and romantic getaways, but the Fredericksburg Crawfish Festival infuses a little Louisiana into this sweet, southern peach of a town.
