“It don’t mean a thing if it ain’t got that swing.” Celebrate swing music at the American Swing session of Planet Music on Friday, Aug. 8 from 7 – 9 pm at the Dougherty Arts Center. Learn a dance routine and listen to a great band – all for free!
The Hot Rhythm Foundation will lead a free Swing Dance class at 7 pm. Afterward, Aunt Ruby’s Sweet Jazz Babies will perform their traditional hot jazz and swing music from the 1910 – 1940s era!
