Anna and Elsa can take a temporary backseat as we shine some light on Disney’s beloved princess, Belle. This smart heroine makes reading books look super cool, she’s an amazingly devoted daughter, and she certainly knows that beauty’s all about what comes from the inside and not based on someone’s outward appearance.

The Broadway touring production of Beauty and the Beast is based on the Academy Award-winning animated feature film, and features unforgettable characters, lavish sets and costumes, and dazzling production. The score includes the songs from the 1991 movie by Alan Menken and Howard Ashman with additional lyrics by Tim Rice, such as “Belle,” and “Be Our Guest”.

The show, directed by Rob Roth, stars Jillian Butterfield as Belle, Ryan Everett Wood as the Beast, Cameron Bond as Gaston, Patrick Pevehouse as Lumiere and Samuel Shurtleff as Cogsworth.

Beauty and the Beast is playing at Bass Concert Hall October 7-10 at 8 p.m., October 11 at 11 a.m., 3:30 p.m., and 8 p.m., and closes out its last show on October 12 at 1 p.m. The show runs 2 hours and 10 min. and includes a 15 min. intermission. Tickets start at $30 and can be purchased online here.
