If there’s one thing we love in Austin it’s free live music. And if it’s a family friendly event, that is all the better! This year marks the 22nd anniversary of KGSR’s Unplugged at the Grove where you can enjoy live music on Thursdays at the iconic Shady Grove on Barton Springs Road, going strong until Sept. 24. There’s no cover charge, and while you are there, you can enjoy beer specials and great food, too.
The live music begins at 8 p.m. And if you happen to own a Subaru, you might be able to take advantage of the VIP parking for the first ten Subarus, courtesy of Austin Subaru. Otherwise, additional parking is available at the Bicycle Sports Shop right down the street at 517 S. Lamar Blvd.
