We love the soccer field and playground Meanwhile has to entertain kids! As is tradition, Meanwhile will be playing The Big Game on their outdoor stage TVs, as well as inside the taproom in their event space. Drinks will be available at the bar, and food trucks will be whipping up some game-day specials. You’re welcome to bring your lawn chairs, but outside food or drinks of any kind are prohibited. This is a free, non-ticketed event. RSVPing is not required and an RSVP does not guarantee you a seat. We recommend arriving early to stake out a table and considering a ride-share option because parking will be hard to find.

Sunday, Feb. 11 | 5:30 pm – 9 pm
If you’ve been to Central Machine Works, you know there are always tons of kids and dogs there. While they don’t have a playground or anything kid-specific, it’s a hot spot for young families and they’ll have the game on! They also have Super Bowl specials you can check out here.

Get those Mambo shoes (and football cheers) ready! It’s time for The Hive’s Mardi Gras Mambo event with Live Music from The Numbers, Mardi Gras crafts, and themed drinks. The event begins at 4, with live music from 5 pm to 6:30 pm. The Super Bowl is on at 6:30 pm. Tickets include kid’s crafts, masks, and one adult event-themed cocktail. Get your tickets here.

Our kids LOVE this place in the summer – It’s the beach bar at their favorite spot – Volente Beach. They have great food options, a kids’ menu, and tv’s to watch sports.
— Bouldin Acres (two locations, both with playgrounds)
There’s something for everyone at Boudin Acres. It’s kid-friendly, and dog-friendly and has awesome food and drinks as well as yard games, pickleball, a playground, and lots of TVs to watch the game. Please note: On Super Bowl Sunday, the South Lamar location is open for pre-game only, and closes to the public at 4pm. The Braker location will be open for the Super Bowl.
— Corner Restaurant
If you can snag a spot on their outdoor patio, Corner Restaurant has TVs surrounding the bar that always have sports games on.

Good ol’ fashioned comfort food combined with neighborhood simplicity. It’ll feel like home while you watch the home team win.

Lustre Pearl South is kid-friendly until 7 pm and has plenty of space for kids to run around and play yard games. Grab a drink, hit up their food trucks, and catch the game.

Kids will love the hand-made pizza, you’ll love the beer selection. A little bit old-school, not a sports bar, but enough televisions to see the big game. And the communal tables make for an easy start to cheering and/or talking smack with your fellow diners.
— Scholz Garten
Pretzels, sausage, and beer. It doesn’t get any more German than this. Scholz Garten is an awesome place to hang out and watch a little football as well.
