Have you ever been to Nature’s Treasures? Perhaps you’ve seen the billboard on I-35 of a woman sitting inside an enormous crystal geode? This Austin store is full of beautiful rocks, minerals, crystals, fossils, jewelry, toys and more. It’s stocked with fascinating treasures and definitely worth a stop in for nature lovers of all ages.
On Saturday, August 8, Nature’s Treasures is celebrating 15 years in Austin with their 2nd Annual Rock Fest from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. with games and activities for the whole family along with a huge yard sale.
Leading up to Rock Fest, you can take part in a Citywide Treasure Hunt! The staff at Nature’s Treasures will be hiding 15 special rocks around famous Austin landmarks from August 5-7, and they will provide clues about where to find these rocks on their Facebook and Twitter pages. If you find a rock, you’ll get to keep it, receive a $50 gift certificate to the store AND be entered to win a beautiful large amethyst!
