Celebrate American Indian Heritage Day on Friday, September 25 at the Bullock Museum with special events throughout the day such as dancing and drumming performances and hands-on activities. Free morning programs are available for school groups, free performances for the public will take place in the lobby at 10:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m., and all are invited to attend a free evening program at 6:30 p.m.

Celebrate the traditional and contemporary arts of Texas’s American Indian groups. This FREE public program will honor American Indians of yesterday and today, including an Entry of Nations, recognition of the holiday, and dancing and drumming performances. Stations to learn more about traditional craft and foodways will be available both before and after the program.
