Disney’s The Little Mermaid @ Bass Concert Hall
Tuesday, September 29 – Sunday, October 4
The national tour of The Little Mermaid is coming to Austin this week! The family-favorite Disney musical will open on September 29 at 8 p.m. Based on the classic animated movie and directed by Glenn Casale, The Little Mermaid takes place in a magical kingdom below the sea, where Arie is the little mermaid who longs to be part of the fascinating world on dry land. Bug Night Out @ Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center
Friday, October 2, 6-9 p.m.
Exploring insect in the Wildflower Center at night! Check out what’s hanging out at mercury light stations in the Family Garden, or bring your own flashlight to see for yourself. There will also be bug-themed meals at the Café, a bat-moth game, storytime about luna moths, and flashlight-guided bug walks starting from the Courtyard at 7:15 p.m. $10 adults, $8 seniors and students, $4 children 5-17, free for center members, younger children. Mad Science Malestrom @ Yarborough Library
Friday, October 2, 7 p.m.

Round Rock Chalk Walk @ Centennial Plaza
Friday, October 2 from 5-10 p.m. & Saturday, October 3 from 10 a.m. – 7 p.m.
See artists create beautiful murals using chalk pastels on pavement. Drawings are created in full view of the public, who are encouraged to interact with the artists as their amazing talents to create beautiful “murals” before their audience’s eyes. You’ll also find plenty of entertainment — live music, art vendors, food, activities for kids, street performers, trick dogs, jugglers, hula hoopers,interactive drumming & more. FREE event!

Hush Hush Music Bash @ The Domain
Saturday, October 3, 4-7 p.m.
If you have mini music fans at home, bring them to the Hush Hush Music Bash at The Domain for the only Kiddie Limits after party in town! You’ll get a little bit of ACL fun for free! This event will be going down at Domain II in Amy Donovan Plaza. The afternoon features performances by Elizabeth McQueen, Tim Kubart with Mother Falcon, and Mario the Magician as well as activities like cupcake decorating, a dance competition and more.
