— Check out an awesome art installation at the Long Center! Architects of Air is back in Austin with their latest amazing luminarium design: Pentalum. You and the kids will get to walk through an inflated structure with domes and tunnels and geometric features reminiscent of a kaleidoscope. Admission to this luminarium is $12 for ages 18 & up, $8 for ages 3-17 and free for kids 2 & under. It opens today but you can check it out through Sunday, Nov. 29 (except Thanksgiving day.) Hours are weekdays from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. and weekends from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.

— Get into the spirit of the season by with a hot cup of cocoa and the amazing Christmas Light Show at Mozart’s Coffee Roasters! Music and lights are choreographed in a most entertaining display. Shows last about 15 minutes, start at 6 p.m. and run every hour on the hour until midnight. Free to watch!

— Check out the annual Austin’s Toy & Comic Show at the Norris Conference Center from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. Meet Star Wars characters and Texas Power Rangers. See the Batmobile and Herbie the Love Bug. Come swap, buy & sell vintage toys, comic books, lunchboxes and other collectibles. Tickets are $5 for ages 13 & up, which you can buy at the door. Kids ages 12 & under are free with an adult. — Looking for some indoor fun? Take the kids over to Pinballz Arcade where they’ll be celebrating their 5th birthday with a Rock ‘N’ Roll Birthday Bash. They are hosting a KISS pinball tournament starting at 1 p.m. and ending with birthday cake and free beer (for ages 21+) at 7 p.m. And when you click here to RSVP for the party, you can get $5 worth of tokens free when you buy $20.

— Stop by the Grand Opening Party of Springfree Trampoline at The Domain from 1- 4 p.m. where you can let the kids test out some trampolines and enjoy a free children’s concert from Joe McDermott at 2 p.m. Refreshments will also be provided.

— Have a uniquely Texican experience at the Three Amigos Quote-Along from the Alamo Drafthouse Cinema at The Salt Lick. — Join the community at a great event to help fight hunger in Austin. On Sunday from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. you can attend the Austin Empty Bowl Project’s family-friendly event where you can purchase a locally crafted ceramic bowl for $20, have it filled with gourmet soup and listen to live music while enjoying your lunch at the Marchesa Hall & Theatre at The Linc. Your support helps Kids Cafe, a program of the Capital Area Food Bank, as well as Meals for Kids, a program of Meals on Wheels & More.

— Want to take the kids to enjoy the fun of the East Austin Studio Tour at a 100% family-friendly spot? Check out Community Art Sunday at the Center for Creative Action from 2-5 p.m. for live music, a music workshop with Recycled Rhythms, as well has a gallery tour and artist talks. Plus, enjoy free beverages (adult and kid-friendly) and snacks.

— All aboard for the last Bertram Flyer of 2015. Take a relaxing ride on Austin Steam Train‘s 1960 Alco diesel locomotive for a 3-hour round-trip ride that includes a 15 minute layover in the historic Bertram Depot. Departs at 2 p.m.Tickets start at $20 and can be purchased online here.
