ZACH Theatre is about to “wow” you with their latest show for children! James and the Giant Peach is a whimsical musical adaptation of the beloved book by Roald Dahl. Geared towards children ages 5 and up, this is the largest show ZACH has ever done for their family series and features more than 50 puppets and very impressive set pieces.
We can’t wait to travel with James and his insect pals on a journey of enormous proportions. The show opens on Friday, February 19, at 6:30 p.m., and you’ll be able to catch a weekend matinee performance through Sunday, April 10. (Scroll below to enter to win a 4-pack of tickets to opening night!)
–> About the Show: When James is sent by his conniving aunts to chop down their old fruit tree, he discovers a magic potion, which results in a tremendous peach – and launches a journey of enormous proportions. Suddenly, James finds himself in the center of the gigantic peach among human-sized insects with equally oversized personalities, but after it falls from the tree and rolls into the ocean, the group faces hunger, sharks and plenty of disagreements. Thanks to James’ quick wit and creative thinking, the residents learn to live and work together in this charming family musical.
