Looking for an exciting day trip to start off your Spring Break? Take the family out to the Llano Earth Arts Fest held Friday, March 11 through Sunday, March 13 in Grenwelge Park in Llano, TX. Located about 70 miles northwest of Austin in the Texas Hill Country, the banks of the Llano River provide a lovely setting for this annual celebration of nature and community. The Llano Earth Art Fest is best known for its World Rock Stacking Championship, but this event also includes art, crafts, music, food and workshops.

You can watch internationally-renowned rock artists defy gravity with amazingly balanced sculptures, and try your hand at rock balancing. For kids there are plenty of activities, including a climbing wall, face painting and more. Adults can enjoy a cold beer while taking part in workshops, viewing the art, or just relaxing in the sun listening to live music.
