Take a little day trip to Burnet, TX to celebrate our favorite wildflower at the 33rd Annual Bluebonnet Festival on Friday, April 8 through Sunday, April 10. Named the Bluebonnet Capital of Texas, Burnet is a short drive deep in the Texas Hill Country, in the Highland Lakes region. The annual festival draws crowds of over 30,000 people each April and includes parades, a carnival, live music, a car show, plenty of arts, craft and food vendors, and lots of children’s activities.
There’s so much for families to do during this three-day event. You can view the full assortment of events here. Kids can take part in a bike decorating contest, a rubber ducky race, enjoy carnival rides, sack races and more. Click here to view the schedule of events.
