Stop by the toy store in advance to get a free ticket for this annual event, with times available at 1 p.m., 1:45 p.m. & 2:30 p.m. Then head back in your most fantastical fairy, wizard or gnome costume for a tea party where you’ll get to make with a fairy craft, enjoy free tea & cookies, and play with other forest fairies and creatures! Tickets available in-store now. Up to three children can attend per one adult.


Cowboy in the Kitchen @ The Long Center
Tuesday, June 14 – Saturday, June 18, shows at 9:30 a.m.  & 11 a.m.
Pollyanna Theatre Company is back with another interactive theatre experience for young children. Cowboy in the Kitchen is the latest in their “Play & Play Series”, where kids ages 2-4 get to join in on the fun with the actors. Tickets are $6.50, which you can purchase online here.


Crowe’s Nest Farm Program @ Little Walnut Creek Library
Wednesday, June 15, 2 p.m.
Learn about Raptors, also known as Birds of Prey, in this informative and educational program which features live birds. Free.

Designed for ages 5-8, these are thirty-minute literary adventures through the museum, weaving together storytelling and works of art. Tours are free & admission is free on Thursdays! Space is limited for tours. Complimentary tour tickets available at the Visitor Services Desk thirty minutes prior to the tours.


Finding Dory Family Carnival @ Alamo Drafthouse South Lamar
Friday, June 17, 10 a.m.
To celebrate the release of Pixar’s Finding Dory, the Alamo Drafthouse is throwing a fun Family Carnival where kids can enjoy a fishing booth, memory match games, some silly run around games, and snap some pics in the “underwater” photo booth before watching the film.
