Bring on the corn maze, pumpkins, apple cider, kettle corn and family time! If you want to pack in a real dose of classic fall fun, you’re going to want to plan a visit to Barton Hill Farms! Barton Hill Farms is set among 100-year-old cottonwood trees, rolling grassy hills and the picturesque Colorado River in Bastrop, TX. It’s the perfect setting to kick back, relax and enjoy a full day of games and good times. Their Fall Festival & Corn Maze is something we look forward to every year!
Each year, the big corn maze has a new path with a new theme. This year it celebrates the epic Texas Western novel Lonesome Dove. There’s also a smaller children’s maze with a Spookley the Square Pumpkin theme that’s much easier and shorter for children to zip through.
In addition to the maze, kids will also enjoy visiting with the farm animals, pillow jumping, face painting, a barrel train, steer dummy roping and more attractions. Also, Barton Hill Farms has a fifty-foot replica of an early Texas maritime schooner and a replica an 1800s era Texas Fort for children to play in. There’s also live music daily and lots of food & drinks to choose from. You can also head to the pumpkin patch in search of the perfect pumpkin to paint there or take home with you to carve.
