On Wednesday, October 5, you can plan to skip the carpool line and walk to school in stead for International Walk to School Day. This event aims to promote safer routes for walking and bicycling, in addition to emphasizing important issues such as physical activity among children, pedestrian safety, traffic congestion, concern for the environment and building connections between families, schools and the broader community.
