— Take the kids to see children’s play, The Ragbag Shoes, at the Long Center. This production from Pollyanna Theatre Company about magic shoes is geared towards kids ages 4-10 and is playing at 9:30 a.m. Tickets are $10.50 which you can purchase online here.
— Celebrate Bastille Day in style with the little ones at A Taste of Paris Party at Toybrary. Enjoy a little French party from 10:30 a.m. – 12 p.m. with coffee, macarons & party decor! $7 per child.
— Enjoy a free concert from Molly Burch and Mother Falcon tonight at the Bullock Museum. Their annual Music Under the Star program takes place from 6-9 p.m. on the plaza. Complimentary garage parking is available, and guests are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items for the Central Texas Food Bank. Food, beer and soda will also be available for purchase. Bring your own blankets and chairs.
— Out with the old, in with the new-to-you! Take your pre-sorted, gently used items to the 6th Annual Clothes Swap at Crestview United Methodist Church from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. Please pre-sort your items by size and don’t forget to bring your own bags.
— Take your superhero fans to Barrel O’ Fun from 12 -2 p.m. for a special Superhero Storytime event. Austin Public Library presents an afternoon of stories, dancing, singing and much more. Free event!
— Follow the yellow brick road to the Zilker Hillside Theatre to see The Wizard of Oz. A special “Munchin Madness” dance party for kids starts at 7 p.m. on stage (and every Saturday) with the show following at 8:15 p.m. (Arrive as early as 6 p.m. for a spot). This is the 59th year that Zilker Theatre Productions offers free musicals in the park for the community. — Stop by the JCC of Austin for their Sunday Funday. Meet at the JCC Pool on from 12 – 2 p.m. for a pool party, live music, a bounce house. Food and sno-cones will be available for purchase. Free for the entire community.
