Paramount Education Summer Camps invite kids and teens to dive into the world of theatre and explore acting, singing, dancing, creative writing, production design, and performance! With the safety of campers and staff being a top priority, 2021 Summer Camps will be hosted digitally on Zoom. Kids and teens can attend from anywhere!
Paramount Summer Camps are offered to students entering 1st grade all the way through high school. Camp Paramount allows campers to have fun while singing, dancing, acting, prop-making, writing, and performing. And reinvented for a digital format, the Summer Songwriting Workshop is a class for middle and high school students, offered once a week for nine weeks, and ends with a socially-distanced showcase at the State Theatre!
Choose from three unique June and July camps for Grades 1-10:
–> Camp Paramount, Grades 1–10, $550
Camp Paramount is a fun and fast-paced 2-week musical theatre camp where campers perform Broadway style musical numbers and iconic pop hits! There are two different and unique sessions offered on Zoom. Session 1: June 14-25, 2021; Session 2: July 19-30, 2021
–> Summer Songwriting Workshop, Grades 7–10, $800
Summer Songwriting Workshop is for aspiring musicians, lyricists, and students that want to learn more about songwriting. The Paramount and State Theatres are known for hosting legendary songwriters from around the world. This 9-week workshop will help foster the next generation and end in a socially-distanced showcase at the State Theatre! Prior musical experience or playing an instrument is a plus, but not required. This takes places on Tuesdays from 4-5:30 p.m. from June 8-August 3, 2021.
