The 24th Annual Austin Powwow will take place on Saturday, Nov. 7 from 9 a.m. – 10 p.m. at the Toney Burger Center. This family-friendly event includes native drums, dancing, storytelling, crafts and artists exhibits. You’ll surely want to visit the Indian Market with more than 100 vendor booths and the Food Court with traditional American Indian foods.

This event is hosted by the Great Promise for American Indians who strive to preserve the traditions, heritage and culture of American Indians, and to support the health and education needs of their youth and families. Members representing nearly 80 different tribes from across the US and Canada will be in attendance and approximately 500 local and visiting artists and performers will be sharing their work.
Schedule highlights: Ceremonial processions in the arena will occur at 10 a.m., 1 p.m. & 6 p.m., and dancers and drum groups will perform there throughout the day and evening. View the lineup of performers scheduled for the Outdoor Heritage Stage.

Indian Market & Food Court: The Austin Powwow has one of the largest Indian Markets in the country with more than 100 booths. Great care is taken to ensure that the goods being sold are authentic Indian arts and crafts. Shop the Market from 9 a.m. – 9 p.m.
The Food Court allows visitors to sample a wide range of authentic American Indian foods. The Food Court will be open from 9 a.m. – 8 p.m.
Admission: There is a $5 entry fee per adult (includes parking), and kids 18 and under are free.
