If you or your kids are big fans of Alice, the Mad Hatter, or the Queen of Hearts, you’ve got to make a point to stop by the Harry Ransom Center on the University of Texas Austin campus to check out the Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland exhibit centered around Lewis Carroll’s beloved book and the real Alice who inspired the story. This kid-friendly exhibit runs through Monday, July 6.

–> A Peek Inside the Exhibit – Review
We recently visited the exhibit and were thrilled to go down this impressive rabbit hole full of interesting facts about Lewis Carroll and to view such an amazing display of Alice-inspired art. When you begin, you’ll be introduced to little Alice Liddell and discover how the story of her adventures came to life through Carroll’s writing. You can follow the white rabbit and enter a room that displays hundreds of versions of Alice from around the world, from the 1800s through today.

On your visit, be sure to pick up a White Rabbit Trail card that you and the kids can stamp when you complete certain activities along your tour. There are plenty of hands-on stations throughout the exhibit to keep the kids entertained and active. Be sure to take a moment to enjoy a make-believe Mad Hatter tea party, try origami and tangrams, and pose for a photo with Alice under the cards. When you’ve completed your stamp card, you can turn it in at the front desk for a free Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland activity book.
