Moms and dads, you could really use a night out, right? (Of course.) How about scheduling date night while supporting a wonderful Austin organization, listening to awesome musicians and dining on delicious food from several area restaurants? Go ahead and call your sitter. On Friday, Sept. 26, you can attend the Austin Originals Benefit Concert, supporting Austin Child Guidance Center with music from The Wheeler Brothers and LaTasha Lee and the Blackties at Austin Music Hall at 7 p.m.

For over 63 years, Austin Child Guidance Center has been providing mental health care for over 3,500 children and family members, regardless of their family’s ability to pay. All proceeds from this event will support low-income, uninsured and under-insured children and their families that would otherwise not have the resources. Also at this event, awards will be presented to two community activists, Maxine Roberts and Barri Rosenbluth.

This 3rd annual Austin Originals event is sponsored by HEB Tournament of Champions and includes a live taping of the concert from The Wheeler Brothers and LaTasha Lee and the Blackties.

Attendees can enjoy food from:

  • Blackfinn Ameripub
  • Clay Pit
  • Cupcake Bar
  • Frank
  • No Va Kitchen & Bar
  • SC3 Catering
  • Urban American Grill
  • Winflo Osteria

Tickets are $125 per person, which you can purchase here, with all proceeds supporting the work of Austin Child Guidance Center.
