Celebrate our Mexican free-tailed bat colony at the 10th Annual Bat Fest on Saturday, Aug. 23 from 4 pm – midnight on the Congress Ave. Bridge. Dress up your little bats for a costume contest, hear live music, check out arts and crafts, eat awesome food and enjoy children’s activities.
Kids 8 and under are free with an adult, adult admission is $10 at the gate. OR you could enter below for a chance to win four tickets!
It is hard to predict exactly when the bats will take flight, but they usually take off between 7:15 – 8:45 pm. The emergence can last up to 30 minutes as 1.5 million bats head out for their nightly flight. Bat Conservation International will have a festive booth on the bridge celebrating our beloved bat colony!
