Jack London’s classic tale, Call of the Wild, will be presented live on stage at the historic Paramount Theatre on Saturday, Jan. 14 and Sunday, Jan. 15. This multi-media adventure mixes classic story telling with projected illustrations and original music to tell the story of Buck, the offspring of a St. Bernard and Scottish Collie. Austin-based theatre company, Theatre Heroes, is making their Paramount debut with this compelling one-man production.

You can catch this show on Saturday, Jan. 14 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. or on Sunday, Jan. 15 at 2 p.m. The show is geared towards kids in 4th – 12th grades. Tickets are $17 and can be purchased online here or by calling 512-472-5470.

Call of the Wild tells the story of Buck, who is kidnapped from his lavish life on a California estate and sent to work as a sled dog during the great Klondike Gold Rush. Buck fights to survive, and becomes the most famous dog in the whole history of the northland. See more in the video clip below.
