Summer is definitely time for fun and games, but it’s also important to avoid that “summer slide” and continue a child’s educational growth and development during the long break from school. Founded by local teachers who want to ensure our children have the best of both fun summer experiences and learning activities, Camp Fun Brain is where reading and STEAM collide for an enriching summer camp for ages 5-10.

At Camp Fun Brain, the primary focus is reading because it gives kids a leg up in anything they want to accomplish, enjoy, or become in life. Through creative play, the staff at Camp Fun Brain weaves literacy into STEAM based activities, and campers grow as readers through authentic engagement with text. Each week of camp has a theme ranging from Fantasy, Adventure, Fables & Fairy Tales, Comic Books and more.

Camps are offered on a weekly basis from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. with extended care options available. Click here to read about a child’s typical day of camp. Choose from North, South and Central locations at these sites:
