One of Austin’s most unique events is back for its 5th year! Creek Show is something you’ll absolutely want to take the kids to see in downtown Austin this week. A program of the Waller Creek Conservancy, Creek Show is a collection of amazing, illuminated art installations that is free and open to the public each evening now through Nov. 17. This year, Creek Show has moved to new location along Waller Creek, between 9th and 11th streets and utilizes the renovated Symphony Square with concerts in the historic amphitheater, a family activity zone, and the Creek Show Lounge presented by BBVA Compass, a new space for you to relax and learn about the Waller Creek parks project.

Creek Show is running through Saturday, November 17 from 6-10 p.m. each night. Take note that traffic flow is designed to go one-way, starting at the entrance at 700 E 9th Street. Visit www.creekshow.com for a map.

We had the chance to visit on the opening night, and are just so impressed by how Creek Show gets better and better each year. The new location is awesome, and the Family Zone offered a great place for the kids to play and get delicious snacks. Check out our photo recap below; all photos by Roger Ho.
