Everyone’s invited to a free community event on Saturday, July 18 at Mueller Lake Park! Bring the kids for a good, old-fashioned Family Field Day with lots of fun and games from 9 a.m. – noon. The Travis County Sheriff’s Office is hosting this event to gather families and engage them in a morning of health and fitness activities.
There will be a variety of free activities for all ages, such as relay races, a Punt, Pass and Kick football game with the assistance of UT football players, a soccer activity, an obstacle course facilitated by the Travis County Sheriff’s Office SWAT team, a rock climbing wall and a small vendor area with organizations promoting health & fitness. You can also check out the SWAT BEAR vehicle, Motors unit and an Austin Fire Department truck on display.
