Even the pickiest little eaters can find something delicious to enjoy at Kerbey Lane Cafe. Skip the ultra-fancy brunch for a kid-approved Austin classic. With 7 area locations, you can stop into any Kerbey Lane Cafe for huge pancakes in a great variety of flavors, even with vegan options. Menu. Snooze, an A.M. Eatery
This family-friendly restaurant that serves up sweet and savory breakfast dishes all day, seven days a week. Snooze has two Austin locations one on South Lamar and another on North Lamar. The menu is huge, offering something for all tastes — from breakfast sandwiches to tacos, omelets, a big variety of pancakes and more. Gluten-free options are also available. Our kids are big fans of the pineapple upside down pancakes. They loved that their platters came with hash browns and fruit, too. The only thing we suggest is to get there early! The Omelettry
The Omelettry has been serving up a terrific breakfast since 1978. From omelettes and pancakes to fruit and healthier fare — they’ve got a great menu that features breakfast all day as well as classic diner fare that will satisfy all appetites. Click here for hours and more info.

Zocalo Cafe
Zocalo Café’s bright garden patio covered is always bustling with families. Their Tex Mex brunch is served on weekends from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. and features tacos, chilaquiles, churros, Huevos Rancheros, pancakes and more on the menu. Click here to learn more.

Culinary Dropout
Located within the Domain Northside, Culinary Dropout is definitely geared towards adults in the evenings, but on weekend mornings, you’ll find plenty of families with little ones enjoy brunch on their covered patio that features games like corn hole, ping pong and more. It’s also situated next to the Lawn at Domain Northside, giving more space for kids to run and play pre- or post- meal. Stubb’s BBQ Gospel Brunch
It’s hard to mention brunch in Austin without noting Stubb’s. Not only will you get some great barbeque, you can also enjoy the great gospel songs. The brunch is offered on Sundays only with seating times at 10:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. The buffet features such items as southern-style grits, migas, fried catfish, and BBQ brisket. Lucy’s Fried Chicken
With multiple locations in the Austin area, Lucy’s is well known for serving up great fried chicken. Their Sunday brunch is offered from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. and includes menu items such as chicken and waffles as well as the Smoked Out Benny (their take on eggs benedict on cornbread muffins with sausage). The South Lamar location, Lucy’s on the Fly, is not open on Sundays, but they still serve up chicken and waffles on Saturdays and have a cute little play area for kids, too. Fresa’s South First
We love outdoor dining that includes a playscape! All the better when the food is delicious. Fresa’s serves up a great selection of classic tacos and a breakfast bol on weekends until noon. Easy and awesomely Austin. Menu.

Top Golf
Not your first thought when it comes to brunch, right? We know, but we’ve always enjoyed the food at Top Golf as well as the fact that it keeps the kids busy and fully entertained. Their brunch menu is available on weekends until 2 p.m. and features chicken and waffle sliders, carmelized french toast and more. Menu.
