Have you ever seen a solar-powered car race? This Friday, July 31 you can take the kids to the Circuit of the Americas from 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. for the FREE Forumla Sun Grand Prix. See some of the most impressive engineering on the planet as teams from all around the world compete to perfect the ultimate in solar car technology.

This family friendly event lets you get up-close access to solar-powered cars and teams. Kids will love seeing these unique cars on the race track. Admission and parking are 100% free.

About the The Formula Sun Grand Prix: This unique style of solar car racing is open to teams from around the world and truly tests the limits of the vehicles in handling curves, braking, and acceleration. The winner of FSGP is determined by the total number of laps completed over the three days of racing.
