Austin Parks Foundation invites us to spend some of lovely fall nights under the stars during their series of free movie nights! Mark your calendars and plan your picnics for Movies in the Park — free films in parks all over Austin on select Thursdays through November, brought to you in partnership with Alamo Drafthouse and presented by Carvana.

September 15, 8pm (Rain Date: November 17) - Best In Show @ Northwest District Park
October 6, 8 p.m. (Rain date: October 13) - Jurassic Park @ Palm Park
October 20, 8 p.m. (Rain date: November 3) - The Goonies @ Pease Park
November 10, 8 p.m. (Rain date: December 1)
What to know before you go: Dogs, picnics and lawn chairs are welcome. Alcoholic beverages, glass and styrofoam are not permitted. Smoking is also prohibited in the park, per city law.
