Yoga is awesome for kids. People don’t realize how stressed kids can feel, and they simply don’t know how to deal with it. Relaxing through yoga is a fun and relaxing way to teach them methods of unwinding and calming down. This class will explore tools to help children de-stress, focus, increase self-awareness and control. Kids will follow a story and use poses to act it out. Along the way they will do breathing exercises, brain gym exercises, affirmations, music and movement, and meditations.
Class will be taught by Ruxi, a Yoga Alliance certified teacher at the 200-hour level, who is trained to teach kids through the Radiant Child curriculum.
This class will be free for now, and if enough children show interest and enroll, it will be continued weekly for $10 per child.
