The start of summer is a pretty sweet time for kids! “See ya” classrooms and “hello” swimming pools, camps, play dates, sleeping in (maybe?) and plenty of ice cold treats. One of our favorite local spots, Gelateria Gemelli, wants to help make our start to summer event sweeter — with FREE scoops of gelato for kids & discounted root beer floats!
What’s the Scoop?
To celebrate the end of the school year, you can stop by the Gelateria Gemelli Trailer at 1906 East Cesar Chavez St. during the month of June for some great deals:
- Kids ages 12 & under can get a free scoop of salted caramel gelato during any open hours.
- Families can enjoy $5 Root Beer Floats after 5 p.m. any day during the month of June.
Gelateria Gemelli makes their delicious gelato in small batches using organic milk and cream from Organic Valley Coop. The shop sources only the best ingredients, often from local suppliers such as Austin Orchards, Springdale Farm and others. Everything is fresh and our flavors change with the seasons.
