On Sunday, Feb. 8 you can take the kids fishing at the 2nd Annual Hooked on Mueller event from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. Everyone’s invited to head over to Mueller Lake Park and catch one of the 2,000 rainbow trout that will be stocked in the lake by Texas Parks and Wildlife. Enjoy live music, cooking demos, prizes, and more at this free event!
A fishing license is not required for this event, and kids and adults are encouraged to catch and keep the rainbow trout!
Texas Parks and Wildlife will be on-hand with their “Take Me Fishing” interpretive trailer. Learn about common Texas fish species and how to be a safe and ethical angler and participants are encouraged to complete a Take Me Fishing Challenge (seek and find activity).

During Hooked on Mueller, you can also stop by the Mueller’s Farmers Market to pick up some fresh fruits and veggies, baked goods and more. The Holy Child will be performing at the Market during the event, too. They are a Soul band with a mix of Funk, Latin, and even Hip Hop. So you might as well bring your dancing shoes.
