Kick off the new year by marching in a parade with the Minor Mishap Marching Band. What fun to start 2015 with music, community, dancing and joy. The New Year’s Day Parade will take place on Thursday, Jan. 1, and you can meet at 2 p.m. at the Doug Sahm Hill (the spiral hill just west of the Palmer Events Center) and finish at the Lamar Pedestrian Bridge.
Since the weather forecast is looking pretty cold and wet, be sure to CHECK THE FACEBOOK PAGE before heading out. If the weather is not cooperative, it may be canceled.
