Mamas, if you haven’t heard of MomCom Austin yet, you’re missing out. MomCom is a twice yearly event in which you can connect, share stories, make some friends and learn about yourself and other women like you. It’s for entrepreneurial moms, wanna-be entrepreneurial moms and working moms. It’s a support system where you can hear all about the backgrounds and life experiences of successful moms in the area. At MomCom, you will get inspired and motivated to take on all of those wonderful ideas you have. In other words, learn how to be a mayor of Boomtown!

The next MomCom will be Saturday, Jan. 26 at the Top of the Oasis at the Oasis Restaurant on Lake Travis from 9 am – 7 pm. Tickets are $109 each and can be purchased here. This price includes a healthy lunch, snack breaks and an all-day drink station in addition to the list of AWESOME SPEAKERS that will be there to inspire the greatness in you. These speakers range from authors to pediatricians and everything in between.

Carrie Contey of Slow Family Living will share her ideas and encouragement on how to live life effectively without getting lost in the grind. Contey’s work offers a new perspective on children, parenting, family life and being a healthy, happy and whole human being. She does not consider herself to be a parenting expert. Her book, Slow Family Living; 75 ways to Slow Down, Connect and Create More Joy, which is set to be published for Spring 2013, is all about helping you slow down and appreciate family life. She also did a guest blog post for us! She’s great, you’ll love her.
