Every spring, runners, fitness enthusiasts and families converge in downtown Austin for the Statesman Capitol 10K, presented by Baylor Scott & White Health. Giving support to the old saying “everything’s bigger in Texas”, the Cap10K race is the largest 10K race in Texas and one of the top 10 in the nation! For many locals it has become a rite of spring. Mark your calendars — and register now — for this big event on Sunday, April 8 in downtown Austin!

Open to all ages, you’re encouraged to run, walk, push that baby stroller, or even bring along your pup for a race through Austin’s picturesque downtown. Then at the Finish Line Festival, you can celebrate your accomplishment with live music, food trucks, a beer garden, kids zone and more.

Runners make their way in the 40th Annual Austin American-Statesman Capitol 10,000 on Sunday morning April 23, 2017.
