There’s no better place to spend summer days than on (or in) the water. At Austin Sailboat Rentals, kids are invited to take to the water, feel the wind in their hair and learn all about sailing. Summer Sailing Camp is offered on both Lake Austin and Lake Travis for kids ages 8-16 years old, who are either beginners or intermediate sailors. With a focus on fun, team-building and safety, campers will learn how to sail (or sail better). Weekly sessions take place throughout the summer months from Monday – Friday, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m., with early drop-off and late pick-up options available.
Camps have a certified US Sailing instructor, certified lifeguard, and one counselor per five camper ratio, so your kids are not only going to learn how to sail the right way, they are going to be safe, while having a whole lot of fun!

–> Beginning Sailors: For kids that have never sailed before, or feel pretty rusty, a beginner session is right for them. They can sign up for one these sessions:
- On Lake Austin: June 6-10; June 20-24; July 4-8; July 18-22; August 1-5; and August 15-19.
- On Lake Travis: June 13-17; June 27-July 1; July 11-15; July 25-29; and August 8-12.
–> Intermediate Sailors: For kids that already know how to sail, they can sign up for one or more of these intermediate sessions:
- On Lake Travis: June 6-10; June 20-24; July 4-8; July 18-22; August 1-5; and August 15-19.
- On Lake Austin: June 13-17; June 27-July 1; July 11-15; July 25-29; and August 8-12.
–> Cost & Enrollment: The cost is $375 per week for all camps and skill levels, and includes lunch at Abel’s on the Lake for kids attending camp at the Lake Austin location; and Subway sandwiches for kids attending camp at the Lake Travis location; fresh fruit in the afternoon, and cold water throughout the day will be provided at both locations. A $20 discount is available for multiple sessions and/or for siblings also signing up. If you opt for early drop-off or late pick-up there is an additional charge of $50/week for either.
