Wow! We are so blown away by the photos you have sent in for our Keep Austin Thankful Photo Contest! You have just raised $1650 for 5 deserving local charities!
Now it’s time for you to vote for your favorite photo! Please go to our Do512 Family Facebook Gallery and “like” the photo you want to win. Voting is open now through midnight on Tuesday, Dec. 2. Winners will be announced at noon on Wednesday, Dec. 3 via Facebook and Twitter. (Remember, for us to see the votes, the photo needs to be liked from our Facebook page. Meaning, if you share it and your family votes on it from your share – we won’t see it – they’ll need to come to our page to like it.)
The BEST part about this contest is that for every photo that was submitted, $5 is being donated to the local charities listed below ($330 total for each charity!). We’re so appreciative of our partners:

The Steeping Room will be donating to Austin Meals on Wheels and More
Hat Creek Burger Company will be donating to Brookwood in Georgetown (BiG).
Parenting Coach, Carrie Contey, Phd, will be donating to the Mothers Milk Bank.
Burro Cheese Kitchen will be donating to Project LOOP
One prize pack will be awarded to the photo with the most votes. (Do512Family staff will also pick two more of our personal favorites to win a prize pack — one photo taken by a child and one taken by a parent.) Prize packs include gifts from Kerbey Lane Cafe, The Steeping Room, Sky Candy, Hat Creek Burger Company, Birds Barbershop and Round Rock Express.
Also, the top 10 photos (chosen by Do512 Family staff) will be on display at The Steeping Room (4400 N Lamar Blvd.) in mid-December so you and your family can check out the photos in a gallery-type setting. More details about the Steeping Room gallery event to come!
