Drop into this card making party to create some decorative cards for Austin area kids in hospitals and shelters. You’ll have fun and feel good knowing that you put smiles on kids faces for Valentine’s Day!

Daddy/Daughter Date Night @ The Art Garage
Friday, Feb. 9, 4:30 – 7 p.m.

Valentine’s Family Day at Spring Lake @ The Meadows Center (San Marcos)
Saturday, Feb. 10, 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Celebrate your love of nature at the Valentine’s Family Fun Day at Spring Lake. They will have nature-themed crafts and activities in the Discovery Hall. This event is free and open to the public.

Hands-on-History: Valentine’s Day @ The Williamson Museum (Georgetown)
Saturday, February 10, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Bring the kids for hands-on, interactive history lessons & activities. Celebrate Valentine’s Day by learning about past valentine traditions and creating Valentine’s from the 1920s! This is a free, come and go activity.

Creative Action’s Friend Fest 2018 @ Central Market North Lamar
Saturday, Feb. 10, 1-3 p.m.
This annual event, hosted by Creative Action, invites the community to celebrate the special love of friendship. Enjoy live music by Seu Jacinto, a friendship parade, make Valentine’s cards, and decorate cookies. FREE event for the whole family! RSVP here.

Valentine’s Playtime @ Round Rock Public Library

Bring your little sweeties for an early literacy playtime featuring Valentine-themed activities highlighting the Love Monster books by Rachel Bright. Kids will read, write, sing, talk, and play together at come-and-go stations. Events are free to the public and will take place on: Monday, Feb. 12 from 6:30 – 7:30 p.m, Tuesday, Feb. 13 and Wednesday, Feb. 14 from 10 – 11 a.m.

Anti-Valentine’s Day party for Teens @ Round Rock Public Library
Tuesday, Feb. 13, 6:30 p.m.
If you think love stinks then this event is for you. Un-celebrate Valentine’s Day the day before on the 13th with activities such as a bad break up letter contest, board games, black duct tape roses craft. You can also enjoy some non-romantic, smelly food such as garlic/jalapeño flavored chips. Teens are encouraged to wear dark colors (no pink or red). Free event for ages 12-18.

Valentine’s Night Out @ Dart’em Up
Wednesday, Feb. 14, 6-9 p.m.
Celebrate your kid’s love of Nerf by dropping them off for a fun Valentine’s Day event. Parents can go enjoy date night after dropping off the kids, where they will eat pizza and play. The cost is $25 per child and includes $5 in arcade tokens, too. You must register to reserve your spot by calling 512-735-1919.

Valentine’s Day Health Fair @ Montopolis Rec Center
Wednesday, Feb. 14, 6-8 p.m.
All are invited to a free health clinic. There will be a healthy meal provided by Kids Cafe, free arts and crafts, and a free health screening and information.

Parents Night Out @ Thinkery
Friday, Feb. 16, 5:30 – 10 p.m.
A date night out for you, a play night out for the kids! Enjoy a post-Valentine’s date in Mueller while the kiddos experience an exclusive evening at Thinkery. Kids ages 4 and up will have the museum to themselves and live it up with pizza, hands-on STEAM activities, exhibit exploration and MORE!
