Something very magical is about to happen at the Zilker Botanical Garden! Faeries are landing in February to prepare for the joys of springtime. You are invited to welcome them to the garden at the annual Faerie Tea Parties where you and your kids can dress up in your own wings and faerie best, enjoy refreshments, and look for signs of faerie landings throughout the gardens. After the tea party, you can even take home a plant to invite faeries into your own garden.

Winter Faerie Tea Parties take place on February 1 & 2 as well as February 22 at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. Tickets for this lovely event go FAST! The cost per child is $22 for City of Austin residents, $24 for non-residents. Light refreshments will be included.
Registration is now open at austintexas.gov/parksonline. (To find the event listing search ‘Faerie Tea Party’ on the ‘Browse Activities’ page, or search by venue: Zilker Botanical Garden.) Take note that you must get tickets online in advance. No walk-in or day-of registration is available as there is limited number of tickets per tea party.
