17th Annual Mighty Texas Dog Walk

On Saturday, Apr. 4, you and your canine companion can join thousands of dogs and their best friends for a stroll near Lady Bird Lake for a great cause! The Mighty Texas Dog Walk is an annual event to raise money for Service Dogs, Inc., an organization that adopts shelter dogs and trains them to assist people living with deafness or mobility related disabilities. During this “Doggiest Day in Austin”, you can meet at Auditorium Shores at 9 a.m., enjoy a walk, and also get lots of free samples and advice from top vets and trainers.

If you pre-register, the fee is $20 per dog. You can register online here. You can also pre-register in person at the following sites:

  • Thursday, Apr. 2, 11 a.m.  – 8 p.m. –> Petco, 9828 Great Hills Trail
  • Friday, Apr. 3, 11a.m. – 8 p.m. –> Petco, 5601 Brodie Ln

You can also register on the day of the walk at Auditorium Shores as early as 7 a.m. Registration fees on walk day are $25 per dog.
