The 19th Annual Austin Celtic Festival is coming to Fiesta Gardens on Saturday, Nov. 7 and Sunday, Nov. 8 from noon – 7:30 p.m. each day, with plenty of fun for the whole family. Celebrate the cultures of Celtic nations such as Ireland and Scotland with four stages of traditional music and dance as well as storytelling, animals, music workshops and a full Highland Games competition.
Music: The world’s leading Celtic artists will be performing both days of the Festival. Check out the full line-up of bands.
Dancing: You’ll be able to see forms or traditional Celtic dancing from the Hill Country Highland Dancers, the Austin Scottish Dance Society, and Austin’s number one Irish dance team the Inishfree Austin Irish Dancers. Dance workshops will also be held throughout the festival and free for all ages. Click here.
Workshops: In addition to the dance workshops, other workshops include music lessons such as beginning Irish guitar, hurling and gaelic football, a Macallan Scotch tasting and many more. Some workshops are an additional fee but please click here for more info.
Arts, Crafts, Food & Beer: The festival grounds will be populated with over 70 Celtic crafts and artisan merchants along with food vendors and two booths serving international draft beers like Guinness, Harp and Smithwicks.
Tickets: Tickets will not be sold at the gate, so you can purchase them in advance online here. Kids ages 12 and under are free! A weekend pass is $30 or you can purchase Saturday or Sunday-only tickets for $18.
