19th Annual Buda Country Fair & Wiener Dog Races

Every spring, folks come from all over Texas for the Buda Country Fair and Wiener Dog Races at Buda City Park. You can pack up the kids and take a short drive south of Austin on Saturday, Apr. 23 and Sunday, Apr. 24 from 8 a.m. – 6 p.m. to check out all the family-friendly fun! This annual country fair begins with pet parade at 9 a.m., followed by the nationally known Wiener Dog Races at 10 a.m. where the speediest dachshunds take to the track. This fundraiser for the Buda Lion’s Club includes a BBQ cook-off, a bake-off, arts & crafts, games for the kids, a washer tournament and lots of entertainment.
