Minor Mishap Marching Band’s Winter Solstice Lantern Parade

Have you had the chance to witness the sights and sounds of the Minor Mishap Marching Band? They are so much fun! All decked out in yellow and black funky outfits, this marching band will have you and your kids shaking some booty. The Minor Mishap Marching Band describes themselves as “a 25 piece renegade circus brass band — an absurd expression of boisterous pandemonium”. Trust us, they are highly entertaining and kid-friendly!

On Sunday, Dec. 21 the Minor Mishap Marching Band is hosting a child friendly Parade of Light on the  Ladybird Lake Hike and Bike Trail.  Gather on the Winter Solstice, shortest day of the year, to celebrate light, darkness, music, community, nature and each other. Everyone is invited to make lanterns to bring to the parade and carry their own light with them in a beautiful procession.
