An amazing lineup has already been announced for the 2015 Austin City Limits Music Festival to be held in Zilker Park October 2-4 and October 9-11, and we can’t wait! And like year’s past, we are also excited that we can bring the kids (ages 10 and under) along for free! And it’s nice to know that we can count on showing the kids a great time at Austin Kiddie Limits, the festival’s family-friendly area. Austin Kiddie Limits is a like festival within a festival that offers an escape from the crowds, fun activities and entertainment geared specifically towards kids, and even includes necessities like baby changing stations. And it’s full of music that will get the kids dancing!
The artists who will be performing at Austin Kiddie Limits come from all over the country and play a variety of music styles. We want to introduce you to all these artists so you’ll be familiar with them when you and the kids can see them live on stage in October!
Our first artist spotlight of the 2015 Austin Kiddie Limits lineup is Tim Kubart with Mother Falcon who will be playing during Weekend One of the fest.

He has released two albums for families with his band Tim and the Space Cadets, most recently “Anthems for Adventure” in 2013. His new album, “Home” will be released this coming fall alongside a multi-city tour, with Austin being one of the stops. For ACL, Tim’s backing band will quadruple in size to include local orchestral band, Mother Falcon.
–> Mother Falcon: The 18-piece ensemble includes several multi-instrumentalists, and is a very popular band here in Austin, selling out shows at Antone’s, The Mohawk, the Parish and more. Mother Falcon blends rock, jazz and hip hop rhythms with swirling horns and strings that support equally inventive vocal arrangements.
