Calling all Longhorns fans… you can head out to the Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium on Sunday, August 9 for the 2015 Texas Football Fan Day! Get a sneak peek of the team in action during an open practice, enjoy lots of great photo ops, and get autographs from football players and assistant coaches at this free event.

— 9 a.m.: Gates 1, 7, 27, 28, & 32 open on the east and west sides. Click here for a stadium map.
— 9:45 a.m.: The day starts with an open practice. This is the first opportunity for fans to get a glimpse of the Longhorns before the season opener vs. Notre Dame in South Bend.
— 12 p.m.: Beginning at noon, fans will have an opportunity for photo ops with some of Texas’ greatest traditions: BEVO XIV, Smokey the Cannon, Texas Cheer and Pom, Hook ‘Em, AirHorn, and the world’s largest Hook ‘Em inflatable (weather permitting).
— 1:30 – 3:30 p.m.: Following practice, fans are encouraged to head to the Red McCombs Red Zone (enter Gates 8, 14, 16, or 25) for autographs from the 2015 Texas Football team and assistant coaches. Photos with Coach Strong will be taken by Texas Athletics personnel; fans will be given information on how to download the FREE photos online.
All autographs and activities are FREE and on a first-come, first-served basis. Large crowds are expected so please prepare accordingly.
–> Parking: FREE parking is available at:
- Manor Garage, located directly west of Mike A. Myers Stadium,
- LBJ lots 37, 38, 39 located directly east of Frank Denius Fields, and
- Lot 70 located directly south of Mike A. Myers Stadium.

–> Please take note of construction around the UT campus: Because of the construction, it’s recommended that you use Dean Keeton to access Red River St. Please be mindful of the following areas as you make your way to DKR-Texas Memorial Stadium.
- Traffic on Robert Dedman Drive from 20th St. to 23rd St. is north bound only;
- The south side of 23rd St. is closed due to construction in front of the Red McCombs Red Zone;
- Red River St. between 15th St. and MLK is one lane, north bound only; and
- MLK at Red River is reduced to one lane both east and west bound.
