Rodeo Rumble: Free Kid’s Fun Run

Plan to take the kids to Rodeo Austin at the Travis County Expo Center on Saturday, Mar. 14 for a great time at the free Rodeo Rumble. In this annual kids 1K Fun Run, children ages 12 and under are invited to race around Luedecke Arena (on the dirt where the cowboys and cowgirls compete each night). Racers are organized by age, and the first race starts at 9:30 a.m. Runners will receive a custom back number for the race and cowbell and treat for finishing the course.

IMG_2987Our Do512 Family Content Manager has taken her three boys for the past several years, and they look forward to it every year. Besides showing off your fast feet in the race, kids also get the chance to meet Rodeo Austin’s costumed characters. And if you stick around after the races, you can explore the Kids Town section of the grounds to check out the petting zoo and more.
It’s a lot of fun!
